On November 10, 2017, Community 1st Bank and First Foundation Bank joined forces. This combination creates a strong regional banking partner for our clients and our local community. On June 15, 2017, it was jointly announced that Community 1st Bank would merge with First Foundation Bank. Both banks have at least one driving principle in common — the client’s needs come first. With its financial strength and profitable history, First Foundation will improve Community 1st Bank’s deposit and lending capacity and strengthen its position as a community-oriented partner.
With the merger comes the establishment of a stronger physical presence in Northern California, enabling the full deployment of its integrated wealth and well-being services. Their combined assets and capabilities will create a one-stop shop for their customers’ diverse financial needs. Like Community 1st Bank, personalized, professional customer service and relationship banking are core values of First Foundation and will continue to be following this merger.

The phone numbers will remain the same. All of our colleagues in our the three locations will be receiving new email addresses, yet their current email address will still work for the foreseeable future. We will be providing you with the updated email addresses so you can update your records.
In addition to the locations in Auburn, Roseville, and Sacramento, First Foundation Bank has eleven branches located throughout California, Nevada, and Hawaii. The branches are located in California are in Irvine, Oakland, Indian Wells, Los Angeles, El Centro, Pasadena, San Diego, Seal Beach, Laguna Hills, as well branches in Las Vegas, NV, and Honolulu, HI.

No, your current account number will remain the same.
First Foundation Bank’s Routing number is 122287581. However, First Foundation will continue to support Community 1st Banks’s routing number. We recommend that you update your routing number after the bank conversion at your convenience.
Yes, you will receive a replacement First Foundation Visa debit or ATM card prior to conversion. Your Community 1st Bank Debit or ATM card will be disabled at the end of day on February 25, 2018.
Your CD rate and term will remain the same. CDs with automatic renewal will renew with a similar term and at the interest rate in effect on the account’s maturity date unless the funds are withdrawn within the 10-day grace period after the maturity date.
Yes, the terms of your loan will remain the same, until the Maturity date of the loan.
There will be no change to your loan number and you will continue to reference the same loan number when making phone inquiries or sending correspondence.
Will I have to contact Social Security Office or my employer to change my direct deposit information?
No, you do not need to update your account information prior to the conversion. We recommend that you update your routing number after the bank conversion at your convenience. The team at any First Foundation Branch would be happy to help you with any of your questions.
When will my Community 1 st Bank accounts be "officially" converted to First Foundation Bank accounts?
Conversion is scheduled to be completed February 26, 2018. After that all Community 1st Bank accounts will be converted to First Foundation accounts. Our team will be in touch with you well in advance of this date.
Online banking clients will open the First Foundation Bank website at https://firstfoundationinc.com and log into their accounts with their existing access ID and a new temporary password that will be sent prior to conversion via email.
Will I continue to have an overdraft protection line? And, how will I receive my Overdraft Protection statement?
If you have an overdraft protection line, the line will remain active. You will continue to receive a separate overdraft line statement separately.
Yes, First Foundation Bank offers a Senior Interest Checking account for our clients that are age 55 and over.
You will receive two separate statements for the month of February. Community 1st Bank will produce a partial statement through February 23rd, 2018. First Foundation Bank will send you a second statement for the remainder of your statement cycle.
Yes, you will be able to use your existing Community 1st Bank checks indefinitely. New check orders will be updated with the First Foundation Bank routing number.
